Annual:

The Maryland Renaissance Festival starts the weekend prior to Labor Day weekend, and runs for nine weekends plus Labor Day. Located just outside of Annapolis, MD in Crownsville (yes, I moved here for this faire!) it is a themed, juried crafts event featuring a renaissance village of over 130 professional artisans; dozens of food and drink vendors; games, rides and attractions; plus stage entertainers, jousting, period music and pageantry. One of the top 5 renaissance themed events in the country. Celebrating our 35th season in 2011, I've been exhibiting since 1985.

Dates for 2011: Opens the weekend of 27-28 August, last weekend is 22-23 October.
See their
web site for special event days and group ticket sales, or call 1-800-296-7304.
